MADINAH, 12 August 2004 — The Head of the Committee for Psychological Welfare, a branch of the charity for social services, has warned of mobile phone cameras being used for black magic and sorcery. He said that mobile cameras were powerful devices which could be used by sorcerers and magicians. He stated that on the Internet and on satellite TV channels, he had seen that wrongdoers are using modern technology for sorcery. He said that sorcerers take pictures of people and then send them to a victim along, with private information which convinces others that the information is true.

Read between the lines here... every schoolgirl knows that cellphones can be used for social manipulation and ostracism, but as image recording devices OF COURSE they can be used for sorcery and even psychic violence. I had a friend who must have a stash of over a hundred pics taken of unsuspecting guys on his PC, not to mention he worked for the bus company's ID department, taking ID photos, "misspelling" their name and then redoing it and keeping the ID with the typo on it. These are akin to a mage using a "Billet" to access a target, for good or ill.
