If everything you desire can be manifested by a trip to the mall, you might want to aim a little higher in terms of your spell objectives.

Keep in mind, I've said this in particular is something I have been experimenting with lately, and I've launched two sigils aligned with manifestation in so far.

These are not the only types of spells I've cast. What is it exactly you mean by aim a little higher?

I do realize there are many whom look at manifesting and want to manifest mass wealth, perfect partner such desires.

I am a little more simple in that which I desire. I do not need a million dollars at the moment, I am at peace at the moment where I am in life. I see nothing exactly wrong with that.

However I do realize why you say what you say, and in a way you are right.

Let me ask do you have any suggestions on how to exactly make the sigils better? And as I asked should I charge all future sigils- whether related to ability of manifestation or not? Or is it fine I not charge each and every one with the sole intent to see naturally the difference between charged sigils and non charged?

Thank you for your response none the less.

Welcome to OC.

I'm curious. Is there anything specific that draws interest in Onmyodo?

It reminds me of my own faith I practice, which is if terms are needed an eclectic mix of a few different things.

As it resembles much of what I have been practicing in a different way already, it itself like I said from what little information I have found of it, isn't very contrary to my own faith already.

In other words I find the type of magic very agreeable to what I have already been practices, it for myself in my perspective only possibly, mixes very well, if you get what I'm saying.

It as far as I know is a form of sorcery. A path I've been working through here in the West, although differently, there are a many similarities that coincide with my own beliefs. Ancestor reverence, and respect, prayer for example, is something as a human individual who has lost both family and friends, is very easily understandable and a respectable way of practice for me.

Many from all over as human beings whom have lost loved ones, should be able to understand this.

I also have interest in Soto Zen. I have had interest years ago in other forms of Buddhism as well, One of the Chinese varieties.

My particular interest in Soto itself is because I have practiced a sitting meditation very very much like zazen for years prior to reading of this. All that I would really require for the ritual side, would be a bell, which I've again had for years as I've used this in my own magic work. And perhaps prayers- Sutras if I wish, and the ability to bow. It is very feasible, peaceful, and simple and does not require a ceremonial dagger decorated with gold and onyx from the early 1800s type of thing.

I will not say I easily understand Soto Buddhism, or Onmyodo. I am not there, and from the West may never get there. But I find it relaxing and peaceful and a great asset to my magic work, which is anything but.

Hi! Welcome to the forums. Things around here can be pretty slow but there are a few of us around from time to time.

You and I share an interest in Soto Zen. Are you active on any other sites (reddit, tumblr, etc)?

I am not active on either reddit or tumblr, currently just social media facebook, but my privacy settings are currently set where only friends of my current friends can send me requests. Tumblr does seem interesting though.

And thank you for the welcome.
