We're like bacterias in many ways (biologically and socially).

In a bacteria colony when their number is too high and there's too much toxins, some of them mutate to feed on these toxins and save the endangered colony. For these mutated bacterias they are not toxins, they are food. What can harm the others, they eat it. Negative or used energy is a perception/interpretation, not the reality. This is all about how you experience it and how you feel with this aspect of your present self/personality. I doubt this energetic feature of yours is at first the cause of mind or body fatigue, it's parasympathic, you need it but don't like it or still don't know how to apprehend and live with it. This is enough to down your nervous system.

If you feel that this habit affect your freewill, you can simply BREATH deeply when your alone and open your mind to new sources of life and vibes. ;--)

When people emit negative emotions, I feed off of it. It's not just simple schadenfreude, I'm always fatigued, and until I feel these emotions I'm always tired. Are there any ways I can remove this? I've been this way ever since I lived in a severely haunted house in England (That had a lot of demons I battled with) and now I disgust myself, how I feel relief when others are sad. What can I do? What exactly is it I have? It's not a mental condition either, as I can actually 'feel' the energy. It is like the sound of when a tv is on, that faint buzz of electricity or whatever, and I crave it. Any spells or cures?

Psychologically you have mapped patterns you can trigger. Were you to spend time in places you lived in, before the haunted house, your brain reworks itself naturally to the older patterns of thought, that you had in those places. = Find a healthier period of life, go there, spend time there, fall into old habits there (Hopefully healthier ones). Also found a concept of an amoebic astral creature, that attaches itself to you and feeds off you, as you feed off others. Good to get those removed too :) Kind of describes it here (http://melora.org/Dark.html) in this article. At least that's what worked for me - Removal of creature, Better time-pattern environment, then meditation to heal residuals from creature. *Shrugs* Meh, everyone fixes differently.

I've been a member in good standing of the vampire community for years and I've done quite a bit of work in the field of cures/treatments for vampiric conditions. My mate is a vampire, but I am not.

This is a very VERY basic overview, but there are three basic forms of psychic vampirism. By the way, not everyone uses the following terms but they aren't uncommon, and if I recall they're from Raven Kaldera's The Ethical Psychic Vampire.

The first is primary vampirism, which is a condition of the soul. So far, no one's ever cured it (or if they did they didn't tell me). This condition follows the soul from one life to the next, and I think it's caused by deep psychic injuries that cause the energy body to be unable to sustain itself normally.

The second, known as secondary vampirism (intuitively enough) is a temporary condition of the energy body, caused by severe physical, emotional or psychic trauma. Often the trauma is in the form of being fed on over a long period of time by a primary vampire who has no concern for his donor/victim's health. Once the damage heals, it goes away. This is part of why a lot of psychics hate hospitals and part of the high burnout rate of doctors and nurses, because virtually everyone who is having an extended stay in a hospital is a secondary vampire; the rest of course is the aura of pain and death hospitals have, but I digress. Secondary vampirism is usually unconscious, but sometimes psychics realize what they are doing.

The third is the voluntary vampire, who learns that human energy is nummy and feeds because he can. It becomes addictive quickly and feels like a need or addiction, complete with withdrawals. Just like dependency on say sleep aids, your body stops producing something if it's getting it from an outside source, and it has to relearn what it needs. Mostly you have to learn to do this, but sometimes it happens to the secondary vampire who thinks they still need it. This group is consider pariah within the vampire community, because they make the rest of us look bad.

Several other people here seem to be treating this are the third type, but I don't think so. The fact that you can trace it to a specific trauma rules out primary vampirism, unless that event occurred while you were a teenager, in which case it could be coincidence.

If you're a primary vampire, there's nothing you can do to cure it, but it's manageable, and even an advantage in some senses. There's lots of information available. I suggest psychicvampire.org

If you're a secondary, which is my theory, then the trick is to figure out the nature of the trauma and begin healing it. Do not try to keep yourself from feeding during this process. You crave the energy because you need it. For ethical reasons I do advise finding someone who is willing to let you take their energy. I suggest that you learn to feed on deeper energies rather than sustaining yourself on negative emotions, because the latter will make you prone to impulsively hurting people to get a feed.

Based on the whole demon thing, I'd say you were probably injured during that prolonged encounter and it never healed. It's possible there's even still a malevolent spirit attached to you and actively draining you. If you'd like help figuring it out feel free to PM me.

May you find what you seek,
Alice

I ve been i n you re shoes also.I don t think u fee on it more like you re infested from it, and if really feed on people s energy that means that you re lack of energy an in stead of using the energy of the universe ,Earth you re taking the energy from the people around u .
u said that you re tired after u feed .If u really fee than u shudn t be tired .
There a a few solutions :
1.Meditate to charge yourself with energy. Before u start say it in you re mind :I ask the heavens t send me the energy that i need the most
2 convert the negative energy before you incorporate it.
.3.( think this will help u the most)set you re barriers .This way can keep all you re negative energies to harm u.(if u don t manage by yourself send me a message.
