When you have a general question to ask, please do ask it in a public thread, rather in a private message. I get a lot of PMs, and I would love to answer them all but, many times, I find the question asked is one that surely others might wish to ask and, nearly always, it is one that would benefit from many different answers, from many different perspectives, which would encourage discussion, exchange, and possibly even learning something new!

So if it is a question about my magical work, then do feel free to ask in a PM. The worst I will say is "I am not at liberty to discuss that."

But if it is a question about magic in general, chances are other people out there have the same question, so please make a public post, where as many as possible can contribute. That's what we are here for.

Thanks! :D

I stickied the thread... as the same should really apply to everyone.

This is a public forum for open discussion... if it's of a personal nature, then by all means take it to Private Message, but otherwise, as I said, this is a place for open discussion.

Discuss! :D

Welcome, merry. :)

If you feel like making a more detailed introduction, I'll direct you to the Welcome Mat. It's not really in a prominent spot, so it is easy to miss.

Broken and being fixed.
This is a postcard sent from the dining room of the HMS Russel's Teapot. Wish you were here- the band is spot on tonight, and we're having "all the way down" turtle soup!

Hey look, the search bar is back again.

Yep. The forum software is out of date. We might get new software, we might not.

Either way, this forum is heavily moderated and most of the bots that would put links on the forum don't get through our sign-up process. In fact I spend most of my time here fighting them. That is why I rarely reply to threads.

Besides, you might be running Kaspersky Labs, which is almost like a virus anyways.

It does not sound fun to be fighting these links.Maybe someone can help you so you could ask these Moderator to share the job then you can join in with your reply.

Perhaps you would make a good Moderator Sheperdess, given your punctuality(for the most part). The Victory Helmet could act as a deterrent to keep engagement to a minimum. Reminds me of a song by David Bowie: Take your Protein Pills, and put your(Victory)Helmet on, Sheperdess ;-)
