According to the Site Guidelines Individual forums can have specific rules. The classified forum is one such forum.

By posting in this forum you accept the terms and conditions set forth in this thread and must abide by them. Violations can result in deleted posts or even infractions!

Participation:
Members must contribute in other areas of the site in order to participate in the Classified section. “Contributing” is not based on post count, rather post content, therefore a post count limit will not be implemented at this time. However, members with less then ten posts will likely be suspect.

Posting:
The threads started in this forum are not pre-screened and are not ‘approved’ by OccultCorpus. With that in mind you understand that any and all content posted in this forum (threads and posts) is the sole responsibility of the member posting it. You understand that Occult Corpus can in no way control off-site conduct beyond reasonable moderation of this forum.

Occult Corpus can not control misleading, misrepresentation, false or inaccurate portrayals of goods or services posted. If you find that you’ve been duped, then feel free to complain, however, members found to continuously show bad form can (and most likely will) be banned from participation in this classified section.

Members can feel free to post links to third party sites that may (or may not) offer better safe guards (such as Ebay). However, multiple threads dealing with an online shop will be construed as spam and will be deleted or merged with similar threads. The main purpose of this forum is for individuals to sell to other individuals and should not be used as a spring board for e-shop owners.

Occult Corpus retains the right to delete, edit, or move anything that it’s moderators or admin feel breaks the terms within this thread, or the spirit of those terms.

Restrictions:
You agree not to post, email, or otherwise make available anything that is:

• Abusive, harassing, libelous, threatening, defamatory, harmful, pornographic, hateful, slanderous, racist, or anything else that is against local, state or federal law.

Point the 13th:

Occult Classifieds may not contain any items meant to be consumed, be it eaten, topically applied, smoked, etc. This includes herbal preparations, topical medications, muffins you made based on your grandma's recipe (she was a dodgy old broad), dog treats, etc etc. Etc. That said, you may link to a store that does sell such things. You may say something along the lines of "I think you might be interested in what I have to sell", but you may not be specific. If you're selling Grandma's Original Herbal Dog Muffins on your store, you are not permitted to mention that part on the OC.

Why? OC does not wish to be associated with your products, even if they are really good, because OC does not know whether they are any good or not. Further, things people put into their bodies are generally specially categorized legally, and the potential for harm is present because of allergies etc. OC also doesn't want people thinking that because they saw it on OC, it must be legitimate.
