Once, some 8 years ago, after reading different books on how to A.P. I finally was able to leave my body while relaxing before going to sleep, hovered for a few secondsthen got back into my body softly, there were no sounds, no vibrations, just a feeling of peace & then floating.

The next night after relaxing to fall asleep I felt as if I had being placed on an elevator that was traveling at high speed then I heard a noise a jolt, when I dared to open my eyes I was floating being landed in the middle of a battlefield, sword & shield in hand & I was force to defend my life by any means necessary however I could, until I dropped exhausted, woke up the next day not knowing what had happened, the next night was the same, projection after projection night after night until I began to miss it if i didn't go, sometimes in was on the ground thing fight, sometimes against one enemy, other times against many, many times flying suspended in the air, for the next 4 years I spent all my nights, no exceptions, like this, to the point that I learned after a year when I was dreaming to go lucid & project & I would fall there by default, the battle fields, filled with blood & soldiers, it drove me for a while, but then I stop feeling altogether, Yes feeling, having emotions, & I could not wait for the night time to feel something because this battles was the only place were I could feel something.....

This went on until 3 years ago......I was assigned to another "field" as they say now a days, I was no longer required to fight on the front, or long battles, I became an apprentice of a master from a groups of mages/wizards/sorcerers that would meet in the astral for certain tasks & occasions, there I learned to help the group I was in & that I had being working (in the battle field) for an organization called "The council of Grey" supposedly they're on no one's side but their own; so I spent a few more years learning about what my new group was doing ect.....

I don't know what have become of that group since I left after a few years for personal reasons, then I stop astraling as they call it; altogether, not because I couldn't but because I wanted to, took long break, I am rusty, no doubt, but the tension I lived through during those years..... That I was there because I had to , I'm sure it left it's mark on my Psyche, I hope no one here gets forced like I did, & for those who are wondering, Are you a girl & u loved the war? the answer's yes, & for those others who will just jump & say that I could have stopped anytime I wanted to, well I could not, since I lacked That piece of information back then, I did not know what i know now, or how to handle it, there were bearly any books in the bookstore about it, & no forums for me in which to share this happenings, so....

Just wanted to share this with you, I hope it helps someone that's going through the same thing..

Thank you.

Interesting. Do you still have these experiences? And when you were reassigned to a different field, what was that like, were there major differences? What were the "sides"?

I no longer go there, I was asigned from being a warrior to being a magus/wizard apprentice for a time, later on I was offer a position of sorts, which I refused, at that time I was allowed to leave the organization/institude whatever u wonna call it, they called themselved the "council of Grey"; suposedly their a side of their own & their task is to keep the balance in this universes by any means nescesary, I saw alot of manipulation there coming from those at the head of this council to their own advantage, so I decided to leave.......

Well the difrences were obviouss, is not the same being a warrior than being an apprentice to help that group of wizzards I was placed into, being a warrior I dealt with direct contact combat, first hand, & dangerous recognition missions, being an apprentice I had to aid my master deal with forces that I've never encounter before or seen before, it was I would say more scary for the latests as I was so used to knowing what i was doing as a warrior out of practice, but I didn't exactly had a clear notion as to what my master & the others were dealing with.......... I woudl just be told to do somethign & I did........
