Pornography, adult or mature content (including tantric magick)
Art (images of the 'goddess' or things like cherubs) used for reference or educational purposes will be allowed so long as it is not in excess. Saying you charged a sigil with masturbation will be allowed, as long as you are not going into the techniques of said charging. All else will be deleted or moved to Behind Closed Doors
Violent content (including spells that cause harm, and sacrifice)
General comments that are vague may be allowed, however this is a gray area and such things may be removed or moved to Behind Closed Doors
at the discretion of the mod team.
Content related to racial intolerance or advocacy against any individual, group or organization
Hate speech in general is not allowed. This includes anti-gay, religious intolerance, and acts against any individual (member or otherwise).
Any other content that is illegal, promotes illegal activity or infringes on the legal rights of others (even magickally)
We must abide by all US, state & local laws. Such things will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
This guideline also covers copyright and plagerism.
The occasional expletive should be OK, so long as it is not on your avatar or signature, as these things go in each post you make which would cross the line into excessive.
Hacking/cracking content (including passwords, torrents, and other ‘protected’ downloads)
These things should need to explanation.
Gambling or casino-related content
A spell to 'win a game' should be OK, but even then such discussions may find themselves moved to Behind Closed Doors
Illicit drugs and drug paraphernalia content (including for ritual use)
This rule sucks, but must be followed. Any topic concerning such things should be had Behind Closed Doors
. However, feel free to state that you did use _x_ in a spirit journey, just don't get into details or focus on such use in open forum, as that will cross the line.
Spam, or uncalled for links (sometimes including those of an occult nature)
Posting a link in one of the resource threads should be OK, linking to a relevant site within a thread should also be OK. Just be sure you are not coming across as a spammer.
Disruptive Posts (including thread hijacking)
This rule was retained to simply help the forums remain on topic and not turn into a series of jokes. Discussions should for the most part remain serious. I will not mind a joke or two now and again, and I will not mind a discussion taking its natural course by going off on a slight tangent.
As this is a 'catchall' type of rule, and is a rather gray area in and of itself, those breaking this rule should find that they are given friendly reminders (even a warning or two) before actual point worthy infractions are given out).
Trolling and flaming
If you are offended by a post by another member, then please report it! The Golden Rule should apply here more then in any other area of the guidelines. If you feel that what you may say falls under this area, it likely does, so just don't post it.
People can disagree with each other all day long, and such a discussion does not have to turn ugly. Keep things civil and these two points can pretty much be ignored!
Threats (may result in a permanent ban)
Threats and harassment will NOT be tolerated! This includes threats of a magickal nature. In ALL cases, a point worthy infraction will be had, in some cases an instant ban may result. So please keep that in mind!
The board Behind Closed Doors
has it's own rules set which is pretty lax, but the topic of magick/occult is pretty much a must, so it's still not a rules free forum.
